After some stargazing, we connected the celestial dots with a vintner in the Santa Ynez Valley and a brewer in Inglewood: Chase from Carhartt Vineyard supplied some Estate Sauvignon Blanc grape clusters, Alex from Three Weavers Brewing Company provided a galaxy of microflora, and together we launched Topa Topa’s first kettle sour beer, with a starry sangria twist! To the untrained eye, the night sky can seem infinitely scattered and empty, but with a little patience and a good star map, you too can behold the beauty in the bleakness – it’s more than a collaboration, it’s a constellation!
