Earl of Granate is a tart beverage packed with a multitude of flavors. Mixed fermentation beer was aged in oak barrels with pomegranate to lend earthy hints of black currant and fresh rhubarb. After maturing in oak for 18 months, the beer was gently steeped with Earl Grey tea to enhance the herbal and floral characteristics extracted from the pomegranate. Pomegranate and Earl Grey tea are both complex and robust ingredients, yet the marriage of the two results in a more delicate, balanced, and refined libation.
