The Cherenkov Effect is a blue glow created when radiation travels through water. It is named after the Russian physicist, Pavel Cherenkov, who made the discovery.
Having used radiation in his former career, Head Thread, Tim Kazules, developed this Russian Imperial Stout at the request of his former Amgen group, “Research Imaging Sciences.”
This Five Year Anniversary edition of Cherenkov Stout was aged in Four Roses Bourbon Barrels after infusion with cocoa nibs and vanilla beans. This decadent treat features smooth notes of vanilla blended with flavors of rich chocolate, deep caramel and dark roasted coffee.
