This was one spicy beer. Aroma was dark chocolate with a hint of orange. Pour was a deep dark brown/near black with a thin tan film for a head. Taste was good. The dark chocolate and roasted malt beginning was quickly overpowered by the strong hot spicy pepper finish. This was probably the hottest pepper beer I’ve ever had. The strong hot pepper heat left the throat on fire and drowned out any other flavor that tried to come through. Mild carbonation…I think…my mouth was left burning like I just ate a raw pepper.
